James Gunn, director of the Guardians Of The Galaxy movies, has spoken out on what he thinks the most underrated Star Wars movie is. His answer may surprise you!
Gunn had the following to say in a Tweet: “I don’t know why Rogue One is trending, but I’m glad it is, as it’s the most underrated Star Wars anything.”
Honestly? I have to agree with him. Rogue One is an incredible movie, one that shows the dangers of war. The entire cast is incredible, the entire story enthralling. It’s maybe not as good if you prefer the Jedi and Sith side of things. But if you like the underdog style of Star Wars, it’s one of the finest pieces of Star Wars media.

The movie was released in 2016 and starred Felicity Jones, Diego Luna,, Ben Mendelsohn, Alan Tudyk, Donnie Yen, Forest Whitaker, Mads Mikkelson and so many more incredible actors that really light up the movie to a heavy degree. Plus, the film has that insane final scene with Darth Vader, showing what an awful person and incredible warrior he was at the height of his powers. Vader is seen cutting down rebels left right and centre.
