Blizzard Reveals Dragonflight, The Next World of Warcraft Expansion

A Blizzard livestream has revealed the next World of Warcraft expansion: Dragonflight. In this latest WoW expansion, Dragonflight sees the dragonflights of Azeroth returning to the game’s modern world – as shown in the new cinematic trailer below.

“A thrilling adventure into their legendary homeland”, as said by Blizzard president Mike Ybarra, it will be up to players to “explore the primordial wonder and ancient secrets of the Dragon Isles”.

Along with bringing World of Warcraft’s first ever combination class, the Dracthyr Evoker, Dragonflight will bring a variety of other tweaks as well. These will not only include the ability to ride dragons, but there will also be a revamp of the Talent System, the Professions and Crafting system, and a new HUD interface. Also coming to World of Warcraft is Wrath of the Lich King. A re-release of WoW’s 2008 expansion, Wrath of the Lich King will be out later this year, and at no extra cost to players already with an active World of Warcraft subscription. Full details can also be found on the WoW Classic site.
