The three live action Spider-Man actors have recreated the iconic pointing meme in a twitter post announcing the home release of No Way Home.
The meme was actually recreated in the movie at one stage, but it was fleeting and something people may have missed. We now have an actual representation of the meme in live action, something that will no doubt be used going forward. If, like many, it’s still utterly insane to you that the three Spider-Men appeared on screen together, this is concrete evidence that it was in fact real.
Origins of Spider-Man Pointing Meme
The original meme comes from an episode of the 1967 Spider-Man cartoon entitled “Double Trouble”. It’s hugely popular and used in a lot of contexts, but back when Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse released it became even more widely used. See, that movie used a variant of it as a post-credits scene featuring Spider-Man 2099. Now, it’s been recreated in live action.

Some of you may remember the story from yesterday about a fake butt on one of the Spider-Men. Now we have a clear look at them, which one do you think has a fake ass? My money is still on Maguire. It’s not long to go until you can re-watch the film at home, analysis every frame. The film will be releasing on digital platforms on March 22nd, with a physical release later on April 12th.
