Here’s Some More Info On Warzone Pacific’s Vanguard Royale Mode

Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific’s Vanguard Royale mode has been detailed in a new post from the Call of Duty team.

The team shared update notes on the new iteration of Warzone, detailing the new mode and everything that’s new to the game. Warzone Pacific launches on December 8th alongside the first season of Vanguard. The core battle royale mode is getting huge changes, but the new Vanguard Royale playlist is being introduced as well.

This aims to put players in a more WWII-focused experienced with some neat changes to the game. For example, vehicles are replaced with more era-appropriate ones like fighter planes.

The post described the new experience with the following: “Fly fighter planes that rain down fire on foes or head for the AA guns or trucks to shoot them out of the skies. There are also other ground-based vehicles, including a Squad Transport all-terrain car that will help your squad cut through and around the island.

Vanguard Royale also has a reduced loot pool, a faster closing circle and limited Operator selection. Only Vanguard guns will be usable in this mode, so it will limit the player’s options to ensure a more true-to-Vanguard approach.

This mode, along with the main battle royale experience on the new map Caldera, will be available on December 8th.
