Halo Infinite Multiplayer Cosmetic Lets Players Put Cat Ears On Spartans

The latest round of cosmetic items in the Halo Infinite store lets players live out their dreams by putting cat ears on a Spartan.

You read that right – those battle-hardy soldiers that are humanities only hope in a universe at war? They wear cat ears now. Deal with it. A new cosmetic bundle for Halo Infinite Multiplayer lets you equip this delightful helmet accessory, but it comes at a price.

The bundle is called ‘Cat Lovers’ and will set you back 1,000 in game credits. That’s about £8 of real world currency. Included in the bundle are the coveted cat ears that sit pretty on top of your Spartan’s helmet. There’s also a pink and grey armour customisation colour, as well as a couple of cute cat themed weapon charms. One has a traditional feline friend on it, the other might be familiar to veteran Halo fans. It’s the helmet of fan-favourite character Kat from Halo Reach.

343 Industries has been criticised for its approach to Battle Pass progression and customisation options in Halo Infinite. It’s working to improve the way that it runs live events, but the game still isn’t perfect. Regardless, it’s hard complain about a cosmetic pack that’s so damn adorable. I, for one, welcome our new cat-cosplaying Spartan overlords.
