Dr Disrespect Says Halo Infinite Would Be Perfect With One Subtle Change

Dr Disrespect has identified one aspect of Halo Infinite that, if improved, he says would make the game perfect.

Dr Disrespect is known for having pretty broad opinions about online shooters. With thousands of hours under his belt in titles like Call of Duty and PUBG, the streamer has been turning his attention to Halo Infinite in recent weeks. He was previously skeptical of the game, particularly due to its lack of a Battle Royale component. However, after playing countless hours of the Multiplayer Beta since last Monday, Dr Disrespect has come around on the title.

Last week, the controversial streamer extended “firm handshakes to Halo Infinite”, saying “Game plays so good. yayaya” in a tweet. That’s something we can agree on here at FragHero – we’re also loving our time with Halo Infinite Multiplayer.

What would Dr Disrespect change about Halo Infinite?

However, there’s one aspect of the game that Dr Disrespect could be improved upon. As reported by Dexerto, the two-timer reckons that the damage feedback to players could be more obvious. As discussed on a recent stream of his, the Doc says he’s finding it hard to tell when he’s close to death.

The health bar in Halo Infinite is located at the top of the screen and depicts two bars. The top bar shows how much shield a player has, while the bottom bar indicates how much health they have left. Shields regenerate after not taking damage for a period, but health regen takes a little longer.

“The amount of damage I’m receiving from another player, their shots… It’s not like I really want to be blinded by all the VFX and audio and my controller vibrating out of its mind,” the streamer says. “But if 343 [Industries] can just boost up the messaging, that would make the whole game incredible. Much, much better,” he caveats.

The slightly toned down damage indicators clearly aren’t a deal breaker for Dr Disrespect, but he thinks the game would be much better if it was improved. It would certainly make dying feel less frustrating, for sure.
