Pokimane has suggested that she could be leaving Twitch, and could potentially be streaming on YouTube in the future.
Imane “Pokimane” Anys is one of Twitch’s biggest streamers, amassing a huge fanbase on the platform. However, her contract with Twitch has officially ended, meaning she is free to evaluate her options.
While her time with Twitch might be coming to an end, she hasn’t yet revealed what her next move will be. However, some of her fellow streamers have already made the jump to YouTube, including Ludwig. She has teased that she’ll be announcing her “next chapter” on February 8th.
YouTube Gaming
Five minutes after Poki made this tweet, YouTube Gaming put out a strange tweet of their own. In it, they posted five blank boxes and said “leave your guesses”, suggesting a big announcement of some kind is imminent.
However, we’ll have to wait and see whether this has anything to do with Pokimane or if it’s something else entirely. The five spaces could be teasing “imane”, but there’s really no way to know right now.
Pokimane currently has 8.9 million followers on Twitch. She has 7 million followers on her two YouTube channels, but that would certainly grow pretty quickly if she made the switch. She also has over 12.5 million followers between Twitter and Instagram.
