Guerilla Game’s Executive producer has announced that their PlayStation 4 exclusive launch title, Killzone: Shadow Fall, has gone gold. he confirmed the news via Twitter.
For those of you who don’t know, unlike in other industries where going gold is a referenced to the number of copies of an album sold, in video games it means that the “master” CD has been delivered to the manufacturer. There’s nothing more that can be done to the game that will come on the disc and eventually arrive on store shelves. No doubt the team, after a short breather, will be hard at work on post-launch support.
Guerilla Games has already announced additional challenges will be added as well as online co-op and a hoard mode in the near future.
