Voting is our birth right, but it is tough to exercise it when you have to chose between candidates like Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. Most of the Americans have even expressed openly that they didn’t love to vote between any of the two candidates.
However, the Americans didn’t also think of voting for other candidates like Jill Stein, Gary Johnson, etc.
They surprisingly voted for none other than the tragically killed gorilla in Cincinnati Zoo, Harambe. Harambe has been one of the most popular characters in social media since the last couple of months.
Harambe actually had to sacrifice his life for a three year old kid who climbed into his enclosure, this past May, due to lack of attention from his parents.
Harambe’s death has caused a lot of controversy, especially on the internet. There has been a lot of campaigns and “D*cks out for Harambe” is one of the prime examples. The social media was also flooded by thousands of Harambe memes since his death.
Harambe’s popularity was even seen during the US elections as more than 15,000 people voted for him. They took to Twitter to post images of their ballot.

On the other hand, some users were very unhappy at the people who voted for Harambe and wasted their vote.

So, the results are out now and Trump has won. At the end of the day, it is a democracy and people can decide what they want.
