Halo Infinite Forge Leaks Show Snowy Biomes And Long-Awaited Features

A ton of new Halo Infinite Forge mode leaks have spilled onto the Halo subreddit, showing new features and variants of maps.

Currently, we have no idea when Halo Infinite’s Forge mode will be out. Our best guess is Season 3, but we don’t even have a date for Season 2 yet. However, that hasn’t stopped data-miners and leakers.

Yesterday we got our first look at some interesting new leaks showing different variants of existing maps. A snowy version of Fragmentation is shown in a video, and another shows Bazaar at night. These variants are currently unplayable in Halo Infinite, and this is the first time we’ve seen them.

But that’s not all. We also know of some potential features coming to this new Forge mode.

New Forge Features?

Take this with a grain of salt, as nothing is confirmed by 343, but a leaked screenshot also shows different menus with new features. One of them is an undo/redo feature, something fans have been requesting for a while. Leaks also suggest we can customise vehicle colours and create weather effects.

In addition, we can see different options in the “object browser”. This includes drop-down menus for “biomes”, “FX”, “accents” and more. Some of it is standard Forge stuff, but others are new. Biomes seems to suggest we’ll be able to make maps in a variety of locales, such as the aforementioned snow.

It seems Halo Infinite’s Forge mode is going to be a big upgrade over what came before it. Hopefully we don’t have too long to wait before we can get our hands on it.
