Mass Effect is truly an iconic gaming franchise, even if its latter games (or game, I should say) haven’t been anything to write home about.
If Mass Effect could get back to its roots, it’d definitely make a lot of people happy, and it seems that BioWare definitely has plans for a new Mass Effect game in the future.
In a recent tweet celebrating N7 Day, producer Michael Gamble wrote: “Happy #N7Day to everyone! I love this IP deeply, and we’ve grown together over the years as fans and developers in it. We still have stories left to tell in this universe…the future is bright”

BioWare currently has its hands full with its upcoming game, Anthem, which is due to release in February next year, but hopefully a new Mass Effect will be their next project? Please?

Naturally, Gamble’s tweet sent Twitter into a frenzy, with Mass Effect fans crying out for a new game to get their hands on.
I wish for a 4k remaster of the trilogy, a new mass effect game (that’s up to par with the original trilogy)
And just so much that I cant put into words. Please @bioware

BioWare has been teasing us with the idea of a new game for a long time now, constantly telling us that no, Mass Effect is not dead.

Hopefully we’ll get the revival we deserve, and not a repeat of Andromeda…
