3. Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor
Shadow of Mordor is a gem of a game. Nobody expected it to delivery anything special but it did and how! The game is super fun to play and has a more than solid storyline. Killing Orcs is painfully rewarding and the visuals and the game world should hit a chord with fans of fiction novels like The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings.
The game is undoubtedly one of the most underrated games to have come out this gen and anyone who enjoys open world games should give this a shot.
